Businesses and agencies in Alachua County are hosting a children's book drive. Their goal is to collect 10,000 books for children ages birth to 6.

Books will be collected between July 25 and Aug. 8. To donate new or gently used books, visit any of the following drop-off locations:

1) Books-A-Million (6111 W. Newberry Road, Gainesville)

2) Alachua County Community Support Services (218 S.E. 24th St., Gainesville)

3) Alachua County Communications Office (12 S.E. First St., Gainesville)

4) Alachua County Visitors and Convention Bureau (30 E. University Ave., Gainesville)

5) Exactech, Inc. (2320 N.W. 66th Court, Gainesville)

6) North Florida Regional Medical Center (6500 Newberry Road, Gainesville)
