Battaglia, who is legally blind, said his puppy got out of the yard Friday afternoon and she hasn't returned home. He lives in Jonesville at 15704 N.W. 28th Ave.
The Great Dane puppy is a 7-month-old female named Josie. She is wearing a new bright-orange collar with a tag. She is brown in color with a black muzzle, and she has white markings on her paws. Josie weighs about 40 to 50 pounds.
The puppy has a gentle demeanor, Battaglia said.
