The Marion County Sheriff's Office discovered an outdoor marijuana grow operation after conducting an air patrol in the Orange Springs area Monday.
The Sheriff's Office Air 1 Unit made the discovery, and the pilot advised Multi-Agency Drug Enforcement Team agents to respond to 13661 N.E. 247th Lane, which appeared to be the closest house on the property.
Once agents arrived and observed the plants, they contacted the property owner, 55-year-old Mark Lumm, who was then arrested, according to the sheriff's office.
A total of 62 marijuana plants were taken from the property.
