The search for the next Gainesville Police Chief is moving along as scheduled.
Today the city manager Russ Blackburn released the names of the five finalists for the position.
Joseph Curreri is currently a captain for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Craig Goralski is currently a captain for the Houston police department.
Richard Hanna is alreadly with GPD and is a captain.
Richard Lemack is from Hollywood Florida where he is the Assistant City Manager and Assistant Chief of Police.
The final candidate is Antonio Williams from Baltimore, Maryland.
Williams is the Chief of Police at the University of Maryland.
