Gainesville Police Department Keeps Tabs on Robberies

Gainesville Police Department Keeps Tabs on Robberies

Published August 11th, 2009

The Gainesville Police Department launched a new addition to its Web site Tuesday, and it's in response to the surge of robberies in North Central Florida.

The Web page lists the mug shots of individuals who have been arrested for robbery in the past 30 days.

Gainesville police tell us that they added this page to keep residents informed and also to curb robberies in the area.

You can find a link on the Gainesville Police Department Web site.
