The bottom half of one young man's mouth is wired together because police say he was a victim of gang violence. They say three gang members attempted to rob him, and while they weren't successful, they did knock one of his teeth out and several others loose.

Officials say they weren't surprised by the violence; they say gangs are a growing problem across North Central Florida.
