Half of Alachua County Public School Students Expected to Ride Bus When Classes Start

In one week, around 28,000 Alachua County Public School students head back to school. Half of them will be taking the school bus on their first day of classes.
On August 24 around 140 buses will make their first trips of a new school year. 14,000 students are expected to hop on the bus to school and 9,000 stops will be made by the end of the day.
Plus it's now easier to find out which of those stops your child needs to use. All you have to do is enter your street address and grade level into this new tool on the district website.
