No More Cash For Clunkers
There's no more cash for clunkers so the program is going to end on Monday.
However, some car dealers say they already have a problem with it.
The government is putting an early end to the almost 2 billion dollar program- because funds have run out.
The program was intended to stretch until November.
Tony Sullivan from Ocala Pontiac GMC says,
"We've had good traffic, and good excitement and just people excited to be able to participate in things they weren't able to participate in in the past."
So far, however, only a small percent of the government refunds have been issued, something that makes dealers a bit nervous.
Frank DeLuca,
"We found out now that they're actually rejecting deals that we have all the paperwork on."
Deluca says so far his dealership has sold over 115 cars thanks to the program but he's waiting on more than a half a million dollars from the government in rebates.
