Sheriff Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing

The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office helicopter had to make an emergency landing this afternoon near an apartment complex in Alachua County.
Just before 4:30pm today the pilot noticed the “Air One” was losing hydraulic pressure and was able to land it without incident near "The Reflections" apartments off of Tower Road.
No one was injured and there are safety teams inspecting the helicopter now. There is no word on the cause of the emergency.
