Workers Still Angry
Published August 18th, 2009
Employees who worked what they say long hours for the Heavy Weight Janitorial Services, owned by Warren Herbert Williams, are still waiting to see some cash. Workers showed up Monday at the University House apartments to meet with Williams to get money, but Williams was a no show. Some are saying that workers with less hours are being paid but others are not. Over 200 people were hired through the state-run "Florida Works" program to do jobs for "Heavyweight Janitorial Services" at Westside Park, The Enclave, Woodland and University House.
