Army Preventive Medicine Unit to Deploy

Family and friends of the 347th Preventive Medicine Detachment gathered for a final ceremony to send off the troops to Iraq this Monday. They have trained for a year together and are now ready to deploy. Their mission in Iraq is to keep an eye on health conditions on camps and bases. They want to prevent the spread of disease and stop outbreaks from forming.
