Police Need Help to Find Missing Melrose Woman
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is asking the public if they have any information on a woman from Melrose, Fla. who has been missing since last week.
21 year-old Kymberly Meredith has not been seen since 4 a.m. on Thursday. She was seen running barefoot along Shiloh Road in Melrose, heading south towards State Road 26. She was spotted wearing a garnet-colored FSU hoodie, a blue denim skirt and black-rimmed prescription glasses.
Meredith is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Her family has told police that Meredith is not the type that would run away from home. As a result, police believe she could be in immediate danger.
Police ask anybody who was driving along S.R. 26 in Melrose between 4 and 11 in the morning last Thursday to contact them, especially if they saw a female walking along the side of the road or any other suspicious activity.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office can be reached at (386) 329-0808 or 1-800-426-9975.
