County Airboat Curfew Proposal
Published October 21st, 2009
County commissioners are looking at a plan to keep boaters off all waterways in Alachua county from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Neighbors say the airboats are too noisy. Over 50 opponents protested last week in front of the county's office. One resident, Jerry Wetherington says it's a personal attack on the residents who use the lake. The county may make a decision on the proposal next Tuesday.
