The deadline is looming for residents casting ballots for Tuesday's annexation vote. Ballots have to be returned by 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections Office.

The annexation in Southeast Gainesville would add 3,000 residents to the population of Gainesville, which is now about 130,000.
