Holiday Travel Increases
Published November 23rd, 2009
Thanksgiving is still a few days away but that isn't stopping many travelers from already hitting the road. Gas prices are up from last year by about seventy cents. That means you will pay about $2.70/gallon at the pump. Despite the higher cost, AAA expects a 3% increase in travel. With air flights also being down, that means roadways may be more congested this year.
