Marion County Jail Investigation Findings

A federal investigation into the Marion County Jail has ended. The results are positive for the Sheriff's office. In March, the Department of Justice launched an investigation into the jail's practices and procedures following several inmate suicides. DOJ experts visited the jail for a week in august. They focused on suicide prevention and the use of force.
