Ocala Man Arrested After Shooting at Deputies

An Ocala man faces attempted murder charges today, after he shot a gun at deputies. It happened around 1 a.m. on Sunday in the International Villas Apartments in Southwest Ocala.
Deputies say 25-year-old Tyler McPartland was threatening suicide when his roommate called 911. When help arrived, he started shooting at them and tried to run away.
He faces several charges, such as aggravated assault, attempted murder and resisting arrest with violence.
