Mold And Bed Bugs At A Newberry Inn
Published December 9th, 2009
A Newberry Inn located off of Newberry Road in Gainesville was given a warning after an inspector found fourteen rooms occupied with bed bugs and one room with mold. The Department of Professional Business and Regulation said the complaint was filed on Monday. The new management company, Newby Associates, took over in October. They were made aware of the situation when they took over and are trying to fix it. The hotel will go through a remodeling phase. The state ordered the rooms are not to be rented until the company complies. They will have another inspection in fourteen days.
