"Living the dream.... Preserving the legacy."
That's the theme for a week-long celebration to honor Martin Luther King, Jr.
Tuesday night, the celebration was at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Northeast Gainesville where the King celebration community choir kicked off the event, "Remembering Martin".
There's a different event every night through January 20th.
Event organizers say it's a great way to remember a man who did so much for the country.
Tonight's event is called "Restoration of rights"... at the MLK center at 6 p.m.
