Shortly before ten Monday evening, police say Stacey Brown was shot at the Pine Ridge apartments off of of North West 23rd Terrace in Gainesville. Witnesses told police she was visiting, when two men forced their way in. A resident of the apartment, 21 year old Mannuel Shaw, pulled out an unloaded gun to scare the men, but one of them ended up firing two shots, one of them hitting Brown in the chest.
