Ocala police say they are investigating the deaths of a man and woman found inside the Park Place of Ocala apartment complex.

A friend of a resident of the apartment, who was visiting from Jacksonville, called police after finding the man and woman deceased in Unit 404 of the Park Place of Ocala apartment complex, which is located at 1621 NE 2nd St.

The male subject was identified as Marshall Ian Pardee, 23, according to the police report. The female subject hasn't been identified at this time.

The investigation is still ongoing. Police say the deaths are suspicious, and are awaiting autopsy results.

As of Sunday evening, investigators are still conducting interviews and sifting through evidence gathered at the scene.

Investigators have not released the motive for the crime yet.
