A park in Marion County is showing off its new look after undergoing major renovations.
Brick City Adventure Park in Ocala had visitors enjoying the new playground and checking out some of the improvements such as a baseball diamond, a football field and improved nature trails.
Officials say spending the money to improve parks in a tough economy is important for the community.
The renovations started in October 2008. About $322,000 was spent on the upgrades.
