Swarming Season Brings Thousands of Bees to Neighborhoods
Published March 29th, 2010
It's all the buzz lately: Bee swarming season.
It has officially started, and some experts say as many as 30,000 bees will invade North Central Florida neighborhoods through the end of May.
They're nesting in chimneys, mailboxes even people's walls.
And what's dangerous is that most people can't tell the difference between honey bees and Africanized bees... also known as killer bees.
It's a state recommendation to have an exterminator kill bees if they get into your home
