Three Injured in Archer Road Car Crash

FHP troopers say a serious car crash backed up westbound traffic on Archer Road Sunday afternoon.
The crash happened when a car attempted to turn and struck a van head-on at approximately 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of SW 44th St. and Archer Road. That's just west of I-75.
Troopers say three people in the car were injured. All three were transported to Shands in stable condition.
Both Alachua County Fire Rescue and Gainesville Fire Rescue responded to the scene.
