An elderly man and woman were found dead in their Lake City home Sunday afternoon.

When the Lake City Police Department arrived at the home, which is located at 1612 SW St. James Court, at approximately 1:52 p.m, they found James Galdraith, 87, and Margaret Galdraith, 80, both dead with gun shot wounds.

A family member called police when they discovered the couple dead in their residence.

Police and the FDLE Crime Scene Unit are currently executing a search warrant on the home for further evidence.

Police said the investigation is ongoing. And, they said they don't believe anyone else was involved in this incident.
