Man Attacked on UF's Campus
Published May 31st, 2010
Police are searching for three suspects who attacked a 19-year-old man on UF's campus before robbing him.
The victim was walking through this pedestrian tunnel, which runs under 13th Street, at about 3 a.m..
That's when police say he was knocked to the ground... and knocked unconscious... by the men who were also in the tunnel.
While he was on the ground, the attackers robbed him... though officers aren't releasing what was stolen at this time.
UPD sent out a mass text message, warning students and faculty of the crime.
The robbery is still under investigation, and officers are increasing patrols in that area.
