A Gainesville woman is in jail Saturday evening accused of stealing hundreds of dollars of clothes and jewelry.

Police said Bonnie Roberts, 51, stole more than $710 of clothes and jewelry from Catherine's, 3498 Archer Road.

Roberts told police that she stole the merchandise to give as gifts to her mother and aunt for mother's day.
