Sister Hazel Feeding the Homeless
Published May 12th, 2010
Everyday people go hungry because they can't get a meal. They may go to the St. Francis House but once 130 people are served the rest are turned away. Sister Hazel is trying to meet their needs. Starting this month every Wednesday to Friday at 2 pm she is feeding the hungry a healthy meal at University Avenue and 6th street near the Central Florida Office Plus. She also hopes employers will stop by so they will give the people jobs. Sister Hazel is in need of volunteers and donations. If you would like to help out, you can call her at 352-378-9496.
