Fire Damages Ocala Fast Food Restaurant

An Ocala fast food restaurant is closed for repairs after a fire broke out early Saturday afternoon.
Ocala Fire Rescue says the blaze started in the bathroom at the Checker's restaurant on Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala.
They were able to contain the blaze pretty quick early Saturday afternoon. Crews say approximately 10 percent of the restaurant was severely damaged.
Three employees were inside the restaurant when the fire started. No one was hurt.
