Kitchen Problems Temporarily Shut Down Gainesville Retirement Home

The Atrium which is located in Northwest Gainesville was inspected by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation on June 4th and was cited for fourteen violations. Investigators found ten dead roaches and twenty live roaches just 2.5 feet from the cookline. Residents who live there were told that it was a plumbing problem. The atrium was inspected in 2008 and was cited for 5 violations. They were also cited this past February for ten violations.
