Police: Man Tries To Rob Gainesville Liquor Store

A Gainesville man is behind bars accused of trying to rob a liquor store.
Police say Bryon Williams, 21, walked into the Albertson's Liquor Store, off 13th street, Friday afternoon, and bought a soda.
He came back a few minutes later, and ordered the cashier to empty the register.
The victim said he pointed what she thought was a pistol wrapped in a shirt at her.
Williams is being held in the Alachua County Jail on $100,000 bond. He is charged with attempted robbery with a deadly weapon.
