Setting Goals, Achieving Success
At ten years old, did you know what you wanted to be when you grew up? Most of us don't but a group of elementary students from North Central Florida got some help figuring it out.
Today 80 kids from Rawlings, Lake Forest and Duval Elementary met at UF for some hands on learning in everything from fine arts to science.
Most of the students showed up interested in careers as football players or rockstars, but they left excited about a potential job in physics, or chemistry!
Having a goal is what motivates kids to stay focused in school and helps prevent drop outs.
