Toliver Sentencing Postponed
Published June 1st, 2010
A county judge postponed the sentencing of Monica Toliver because the state prosecutor wanted the court to impose a harsher sentence on her for causing the accident that killed Michael Van Wagner. She was found guilty of reckless driving, but was acquitted for vehicular homicide. Friends and family of the victim read letters to the judge stating that Toliver shows no remorse.
