Published June 21st, 2010
The University of Florida Entomology and Nematology department kicked off it's bug camp Monday. Middle schoolers learned about the importance of all types of insects and how they effect our environment. Students played games, went bug hunting and got to play with millipedes, spiders and hissing cockroaches. Entomologists say that insects make up about 75 percent of all the wildlife in the world.
