Gas Stations Fight Skimmers
Published July 26th, 2010
Gas stations are helping in the fight to safeguard card card information. Some stations are performing daily skimmer checks and upgrading pump locks. One station manager is concerned about the keys used to open the locks.
"It is really simple. It's like a filing cabinet key. They're a lot of those keys out there that is why I called a locksmith to get different locks put on our pumps," said John Oliver.
Police say the best way to protect your information is by paying for your gas inside the station.
