4-A's Host Candidate Forum
Published September 13th, 2010
Candidates running for various elected positions this coming November, turned out at the county health department Monday night. The African American Accountability alliance PAC hosted a forum where candidates were invited to speak to people with hopes of getting their vote. Not all the candidates showed up, but the ones who did gave a short speech and took questions from the audience.
Organizers hope these gathering will let people know what going on in their communities. The 4-A's ultimately endorsed Alachua county commission candidates Cynthia Chestnut and Lee Pinkoson and school board candidate Rick Nesbit. They will host a get out to vote event October 24th at the Downtown Plaza from 1 to 5pm.
