Parents who send their kids to Alachua County Schools might pay more for lunches if they don't act soon. The deadline to apply for reduced or free lunches for this school year is next week on Tuesday, October 5th. More than 50% of students meet the criteria. Alachua County Schools say several thousand students who might be eligible have not signed-up yet....that means some students might go hungry.
