Published September 2nd, 2010
A man wanted in the armed robbery of a the Suntrust Bank in Dunnellon in late July is behind bars after an anonymous tip to the FBI led to his capture in Ocala early this morning. Todd Kobielus told TV20 news from inside the Marion County Jail he moved to Florida six months ago and couldn't find work. Kobielus says he robbed the bank for two reasons, to feed his family, and to feed his drug habit. Kobielus apologized to the bank employees for scaring them, and plans to use his time behind bars to go through rehab and hopefully return to a normal drug and crime free life.
