Salvation Army's Megan's Angel Campaign
A quiet thank you can go a long way and it can inspire others to even greater acts of kindness worth thanking. The Salvation Army is struggling to meet the extra needs of the community and they received an inspiration from a young girl. A couple weeks back a family stopped by the Salvation Army who just needed a little financial help. The next day 9 year old Megan Erickson stopped by again to show her gratitude by giving a card with an angel. The card sparked a Megan's Angel Campaign by the Salvation Army to let the public catch a glimpse of the impact their donations have on every person helped by the organization and show them how they can continue to help the extra needs right now.
