Fans have set up camp for a week now preparing for the drag races. Campers used to settle in at the Alachua County Fairgrounds, but because of debt issues with the county, they had to change locations. The only problem is the new site doesn't have electricity, so campers are using generators. They say they're trading the expensive hotels and luxury, for the outdoors and bonding with fans.
