Florida's Division of Forestry says a few small steps can go a longer way to protecting your home against wildfire.
A few months ahead of the Summer lightning season, they are holding a free workshop to educate homeowners on what they can do to create a defensible space around their property.
The workshop is May 5th at the Paynes Prairie Training Room.
