Jumping Sturgeon Are Back

Jumping gulf sturgeon are migrating back to the Suwannee River which can make things tricky for boaters. From around April to October the sturgeon come back to the Suwannee River for breeding...that is also the time most boaters are on the water. Each year Florida Wildlife Commission reports several accidents and injuries from these jumping fish and suspect many more that are never reported. Watch the video on the right to learn more.
