Big Crowd at the "Big House"

It's a packed house and they aren't sure why.
As of this morning, there were 986 inmates at the Alachua County Jail. There is room for 1148. In the summer months, there is a documented spike in the number of people incarcerated.
Local officials met today to discuss issues within the criminal justice system including possible factors in the seasonal increase.
