A 15-year old boy is in jail accused of stabbing a man to death after a brawl at a Levy county mud bog. Christopher Sutherlin of New Port Richey was arrested Saturday after deputies said he stabbed 24-year old Roderic Sparks in the chest. Investigators said Sutherlin's father got into an argument with Sparks, a Crystal River resident, at the Horse Hole Mud Bog in Inglis. When the argument turned into a fist fight, deputies said that is when Sutherlin stabbed Sparks.
