A business is helping local schools build brighter futures for their students...and for one school, that means building a brighter playground.
Irby elementary school was one of 52 schools in Florida to receive a Toolbox For Education grant from Lowe's this school year.
The grants are handed out twice a year to schools that apply for them
School officials said they've been trying for three years to replace the old yellow playset with a bright red..white and blue one.
Lowe's awarded more than 800 toolbox for education grants nationwide.
