Coping With Violence
One woman is looking towards her own painful past to help others achieve a brighter future.
Cheryl Young-Boston lost her daughter Crissy seven years ago.
Crissy was murdered by her ex-boyfriend after she tried to make their break up official.
Now Young-Boston speaks at seminar's across North Central Florida to help others look for the signs and prevent domestic abuse.
Today, she was in Archer as part of the empowered to live the life you choose rebuilding program.
The movement educates spiritual leaders about domestic violence, since several victims turn to their church when in distress.
The program is put on through Gainesville's Police Department.
