Tortoises Hold Up Construction in Newberry

It's a race that has been won by the tortoise, by much more than a hair.
Construction on the $7 million dollar Nations Park Baseball complex is on hold because gopher tortoises have been discovered.
But time is of the essence on this project, so the city has a plan to minimize the delay.
