56 soldiers in the 257th Transportation Movement Control Battalion have been called to Afghanistan. A deployment ceremony was held this morning in celebration of the men and women as they depart on the eleven month mission. Reality set in for families as they prepare to make their last goodbyes, or as some families say, see you when you get back. The soldiers will depart Thursday morning at 10am from the Gainesville Regional Airport.
