This week Gainesville's Regional Transit System marks it's thirty year anniversary of being a city of Gainesville agency.
Now it turns out they have added cause for celebration.
Twice this week RTS passed 60,000 riders in a single day which passed their previous record.
RTS officially became a city agency thirty years ago this Wednesday.
Since that time, they have been recognized as one of the top one hundred transit systems in the country.
