That left over cooking oil from your dinner last night is being used to power a building!
The Alachua County Hazardous Waste Collection Center now has the ability to operate completely off the energy grid, from an unlikely source.
The center takes used cooking oil from homes and turns it into a usuable energy source, within days. You might be surprised how long that could last.
